Join us for the August meeting of the Androscoggin County Democratic Committee and "Watch Party" as Senator Obama makes history with his speach from Denver Co. We'll hear from members of the Maine Campaign for Change staff and an update from Maine Democratic Party and Congressmen Allen's Campaign.  Following the meeting stick around to watch Senator Obama's speach from Denver.

Free Barbeque and Beach Party to Thank Volunteers
Saturday, August 30th at 11am

 
Join us Saturday, August 30th at 11am at Range Ponds State Park in Poland as we take some time to thank our volunteers for all their hard work.  Thanks to county and municipal committees we will be providing hotdogs, hamburgers and entrance fee's to the park.  Please bring your favorite side dishes, drinks and a new volunteer! If you want to receive a voucher so that you do not have to pay to enter the park, you need to call Walter Hill at 212-9166.

Welcome to the Androscoggin County Democratic Committee website.

We have an office at 213 Lisbon Street, Lewiston, and one at 1 Great Falls Plaza, Auburn, where volunteers have been working hard with voter contact calls, and canvassing neighborhoods.

We sit on the bottom edge of the second congressional district; with the second and fifth largest cities in the state we play a crucial role in electing Tom Allen to the United States Senate, re-electing Mike Michaud to Congress, and sending Democrats from across the county to the Maine State House.

This is an exciting year and to be honest, voting is not enough. Volunteers and staffers are on track to build the largest, most aggressive grassroots campaign Maine has ever seen. Don't be left out! To win this fall, we need to keep the momentum from the Caucus, the Convention, and the Primary rolling, and we can't do it without you.

A few hours of your time can make the difference and there's something for everyone. Come join our effort and be a part of a once-in-a-lifetime campaign, in a state that will lead the way for change this November.

Awards Dinner

Join fellow Democrats from across the county on September 13th at 6pm as we hold our awards dinner at the Fireside Inn in Auburn.

It will be an evening of great friends celebrating our accomplishments and looking towards victory this November.

$35 per person/two for $60.  Those able to contribute $150 or more will be listed as on the Host Committee.
