This summer, we are making calls, knocking on doors, and fighting for our values. Join us at the March for Truth on Saturday as part of our Resistance Summer kick-off.
The official Resistance Summer kick-off date is this Saturday, June 3rd. We’re celebrating by attending the March for Truth in Portland, an event we’re co-sponsoring with Mainers for Accountable Leadership. MDP’s new Communications & Digital Manager Cara Scozzafava and Kennebec County Democratic Committee Chair Alicia Barnes will both be speaking.
Attend the March for Truth this Saturday, June 3rd, 3-5 PM.
Maine is in a unique position when it comes to the culture of deceit that surrounds President Trump and his associates. Both of our US Senators are on the Senate Intelligence Committee. Together, we must call for a complete, fair, and impartial Trump-Russia investigation. For more information or to RSVP, check out the Facebook event: https://www.facebook.

Our full team of grassroots organizers will be on the ground by mid-June, and there will be future events in every region of Maine. Additionally, if you are planning a rally, march, or training in your community, do not hesitate to reach out to Organizing & Outreach Director Kate McClellan (firstname.lastname@example.org) so that we can provide support and promote attendance. That’s what Resistance Summer is all about.
